Student Assistant "SDaC - Smart Design and Construction"

  • The DSI Group of the KSRI is looking for a student assistant!
    Our research project "SDaC - Smart Design and Construction" on "Artificial Intelligence in the Construction Industry" is looking for a student assistant. The research project is part of the innovation initiative "Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a driver for economically relevant ecosystems" of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi). In the research project, KIT (TMB & KSRI) is working on new AI applications for the construction industry in cooperation with practice partners such as digitales bauen GmbH or Goldbeck GmbH. KSRI focuses on construction planning and researches tools for architects and planners.
    Currently, we are looking for a student assistant that supports us in this research project.
    We are looking for a student assistant for support in the prototypical development of AI applications, front-end and back-end development for interactive web apps and their deployment and user testing. Practical programming skills in web development are required and you should be able to create web applications on your own (e.g. VueJS, Angular, CSS, Bootstrap). Ideally, you also have experience with Python, Machine Learning and the development of APIs (e.g. TensorFlow, scikit-learn, Flask).
    The starting date is the October 1, 2020.
