Service Design Thinking: 6 teams at kick off event in Stanford

  • Date: 05.11.2015

The new Service Design Thinking Program 2015/2016 at KSRI has started. As in the year before, our students were invited to participate at the global Kick-off Event in Stanford, where they were introduced into the main central aspects of Design Thinking at high-speed mode by accepting the Paper Bike Challenge.

This year KSRI has six teams in cooperation with the Hasso Plattner Institute from the University of Potsdam, the University of St. Gallen and the Trinity College, Dublin, resulting in now 24 instead of 8 students in 2014/2015. This year the range of topics is much wider including projects in the sector telecommunications, finances, retail sale and chemistry.

In view of the positive development of the Service Design Thinking Program we are happy to introduce two new team members.

Anke Holtmann-Plog studied economics at the JLU Giessen followed by many years working as marketing manager in different companies.

Michael Knierim studied Management at the Johannes-Gutenberg-University of Mainz and the Université Montpellier I – ISEM supporting KSRI’s researcher team with his focus on Participation.
