Dr. Veronica Martinez is currently a visiting professor at Karlsruhe Service Research Institute, where she will stay until the end of 2013. She is the Principal Research Fellow in the Centre for Business Performance at Cranfield School of Management, United Kingdom. Martinez is also the director of the Operational Performance executive course at Cranfield School of Management. She has been working in the strategy performance management field since 1998. Veronica has led and participated in large European and UK research projects in products and services. Veronica’s major research interests revolve around the fields of service performance, value creation and performance measurement and management systems. Prior to her academic career, she worked in the automotive industry, where she coordinated the launching of a new manufacturing quality assurance system. She has worked with organisations such as Daimler-Chrysler, Highland Spring, Alcan Chemicals and COMIMSA. She has consultancy experience on IBM Greenock and Daks Group. She has also participated in different projects including a large European project supported by Pegout, Fidia, Iparlat and EFESO.
