Tobias is a research associate at the digital service innovation group within the Karlsruhe Service Research Institute (KSRI). His research focus is on data-driven business model and the monetarization thereof as well as the to develop an understanding of the value generated along the value chain.
Prior to joining the KSRI research group, Tobias worked as a business strategy consultant and project manager on various client engagements across multiple industries in Germany, Switzerland and France (2008 – 2012). In this role, he led transition phases in global outsourcing projects, drafted market entry strategies and supported clients in developing their innovation portfolio. Between 2014 to 2017, Tobias worked at IBM’s corporate headquarters in New York, USA and supported the global leadership team in making sound management decisions by applying advanced analytics methodologies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
